Block 30 minutes in November and walk every paver surface. Check joint sand, color fade, settling, edge restraint, and travertine spalling near the pool. Resand any joint sitting more than 1/8 inch low, and book resealing or any new feature now, while the calendar's open.
Your hardscape just survived its hardest season: months of 100 plus heat, monsoon storms, pool parties, and direct UV. Most of the damage is cosmetic and reversible if you catch it now.

- Joint sand. Run a finger along the joint. If the sand sits more than 1/8 inch below the paver edge, it's time to resand.
- Color fade. Compare a sunny section to a shaded one. A big difference means the sealer's gone.
- Settling. Roll a basketball across the patio. If it veers, the base moved.
- Edging. Pavers creeping outward into turf or planters mean the edge restraint failed.

- Resealing. Needs 2 to 3 dry days, easy to find before the holidays.
- A fire pit or BBQ surround. Demand spikes before Easter, and it runs 6 to 8 weeks from quote to dig.
- A putting green or game pad. Turf orders take a few weeks, and the wait grows with spring demand.
